Tia torres book

I don’t know if there has been a book that has made me laugh and cry as much. It definitely is one that I am happy to add to my ‘dogs-favorite-books’ shelf.

Although books around dog rescue seem to have an easier time being good enough to get there, this book shines more with getting to know the author and a selection of her dogs than the rescue aspects I have seen in other books.

I had not watched her show ‘Pit Bulls and Parolees’ prior to reading the book, but since then have watched a couple of episodes and plan on watching more.

Villalobos rescue center

The book and the show are great companions for each other.

She founded Villalobos Rescue center. First for wolf and wolf hybrid dogs, then with a focus on pit bulls. She started out in Southern California and I am sure she is very glad she made the choice to move to Louisiana.
